It’s been a long time. I shouldn’t have left you, without some updates to impress you.
Horrible. I know. I have been in my black hole of a studio, aka The Slowdown, finishing my album up. A couple of mix issues to fix and its off to Piecelock70 to get mastered by THE dude Thes One.
On to the goods:
A bit late on the notice, but tonight I will be djing with my man Manuvers at the Seun Kuti show located at the Artime Theater. I’m excited to dj just as much as I am to check the concert. Miami needs more of these kinds of events.
As for tomorrow, I will be joining some of Miami’s finest DJs at the Dayvent jamboree at The Stage. The last party that was thrown in the same vein was a smashing success. The music and the vibe was incredible. The crowd was thick even though it was hotter than a mosquitos tweeter. Ready to see what’s in store for Saturday. I’m even putting my dancing shoes on. Don’t hate.
Next Friday, You can catch me at Cafeina playing with a ton of special guest DJ’s for the birthday celebration of my man, my mellow, DJ A-train. Party starts at 10, ends when noone can stand anymore.
For those that don’t follow me on twitter, there has been some news floating around of a new mixTAPE that my partner in crime, Kems and I have completed. Well, the tape has been completed and a few copies have been made (shouts to Iron Ora for letting us use your tape duplicators), but we have a number in mind to make, and once that number is reached, then no more tape copies. I will let you know when we will have those for sale, each will be hand numbered, and some might have a little love note included.
